Resident Evil: REborn, is another remake of the original resident evil, with better graphics and gameplay. The name has a double meaning. It can be taken as this is a 'rebirth' of resident evil, and there is an extra senario you get after you beat the game. It is entitled 'Wesker's Rebirth' and will focus on what Wesker did during the events of the game.

Playing
The game takes place in 1st person perspective. The majority of cutscenes will take place in 1st person view, with the exception of the Intro and the Ending. Like the game Mirors edge, you can see the characters body parts, such as the foot, hands, arms, body, ect. When standing still for a short period of time, your character will start to do motions such as looling at the current equiped weapon, scratching parts of his/her body, etc.
The game will also have a scarier atmosphere, with no man made lights with the exception of a small flashlight that is over the characters left shoulder. All rooms without windows are near pitch black, and rooms with windows will only light up when lightning strikes. Sounds of footsteps and moaning can be heard throughout the Mansion, and the occasional howl of a dog will can be heard in the background. When you kill a zombie, they will come back to life as a crimson head in a matter of one to two game hours.
Characters can sprint to escape danger, but you have a hidden stamina meter that depletes as you sprint. When you turn to fast while sprinting, you can fall and injure yourself. (with the exception of Wesker) Some characters have shorter stamina then others, while others are faster.
The gun system is original in this game. With semi-automatic weapons, such as the handgun, you can fire as fast as you can press the firing button. However, because of ammo being a scarcity this is unadvised. You can also move while aiming and firing the gun, but you move at half-speed. The knife can be drawn out can carried, and combos can be used. You can also sneak up on a zombie and stab its knife into its head, killing it instantly.
The game will show the character doing actions, such as unlocking doors, climbing ladders, and climbing up stairs. An example of this is when Jill is using her lockpick, you see her unlocking the door with it, instead of words popping up and saying the door has been unlocked. It also takes time to lockpick a door, and the process can be interrupted by an attacking enemy. While playing as Wesker, you can do hand to hand combat thanks to his virus, and while sprinting with him, he can shove other monster aside. The game it not a corridor fest, and you will not go into a load sequence unless you go to a completly different area, such as the courtyard, the residence, and the lab.
All the areas in this game are exactly like the areas in the remake of the original. However, some puzzles are changed. The birth to death puzzle from the original replaces the light puzzle in the remake, and you need to collect crests to go into the courtyard. The door to the graveyard that is on the stairs in the main hall was been removed, but the graveyard it still there. You just need to get in it a different way. The masks are also still in the game, but they are in different locations.
Story
The Mansion Incident
There are two senarios, Chris and Jill. THey are the exact same story as in the REmake of the original game.
Wesker's Rebirth
And original idea. You play as Wesker as he escapes the mansion. You have a time limit of 30 minutes to get to the main hall, defeat the dreaded Lisa Trevor, and run out the door. Only the final cutscene where Wesker is thinking to himself is in third person.
As Wesker reawakes from his death, he finds that the Tyrant was dead, and that the facility was just moments away from self-destruction. After failing to log-on to the computer to get information on the UMF-013, he decides to go after it later, when the time it right. He heads up to the mansion while fighting off BOW's and Zombies, finily reaching the main halls of the mansion. Their, he meets up with an old expirament, one Lisa Trevor, the immortal girl. Wesker is able to defeat Lisa, and he heads out the main door. After the destruction of the mansion, he thinks to himself for a moment. So, it seems I was reborn like a pheonix emerging from the flame. Umbrella, I no longer need you. I have casted out my frail humanity, and became something greater, which leaves nothing to oppose me.
